Andrew Tate reacts to Kartel’s Privy Council ruling

Controversial social media influencer Andrew Tate on Thursday, March 14, made his support for Vybz Kartel’s freedom from incarceration clear on his social media page.

In response to a BBC post on X, Tate said: “Free my G.”

Tate, a known dancehall fan, has spoken of his experiences in Jamaica and his appreciation for dancehall music and artistes.

Tate, also known as ‘Top G’, also shares certain parallels with the artiste where he is also immensely popular among certain groups and is regarded as a hero-like figure to his fan base. He is currently facing is own legal challenges.

On Thursday, March 14, after over a decade, the murder convictions against dancehall star Adidja ‘Vybz Kartel’ Palmer and his three co-accused were quashed by the UK Privy Council and sent back to the Jamaican Appeal Court pending a decision on a retrial.
