American actress Angelina Jolie is back in the camera spotlight as the just-released teaser for thriller film Those Who Wish Me Dead hits all the right notes.

The R-rated film, based on a novel of the same name by New York Times bestseller Michael Koryta, is sure to have adrenaline junkies glued to their screens. 

Those Who Wish Me Dead follows Hannah Faber (played by Jolie), a veteran smokejumper still struggling to cope after a wildfire killed people she swore to rescue in Montana when she encounters Connor Casserly. 

Pursued by assassins intent on silencing him, Faber, a veteran fire warden and wilderness survival expert, offers him shelter in her lookout tower. 

The bloodied teen is initially apprehensive of Faber after just escaping with his life when he and his father were ambushed by a father-son duo of assassins. 

Eventually putting his trust in her, Faber comes face to face with the trained-to-kill Blackwells, who are intent on finishing the job—even if it means torching an entire forest. 

Setting fire to the forest to cover their tracks was just the start of the pair’s trials, as they must both survive a deadly blaze that threatens to consume them and outwit the killers on their trail.

In Salt-meets-Only The Brave, Jolie is supported by a stellar cast in Those Who Wish Me Dead, including Nicholas Hoult, Aidan Gillen, Jon Bernthal and Tyler Perry. 

Those Who Wish Me Dead, a gutsy pre-summer blockbuster by Warner Bros., is due for cinematic release on May 14 in the United States. 

The film will also be available for streaming on release data via HBO Max.
