Another bomb threat has caused students of St Mary High to resort to online classes on Monday (June 5) after an alleged voice note was received by the school’s principal on Sunday claiming that a bomb was set to detonate at the institution.
According to reports, some students were sent home while others who are sitting external exams were asked to remain at school.
Reports are that the local authorities were later alerted and the JCF along with members of the Jamaica Defence Force and the Jamaica Fire Brigade responded to the threat.
The police have since declared that normalcy has been restored at the institution after carrying out checks.
This recent bomb follows a similar bomb threat in Ocho Rios, St Ann at a Rubis gas station in the parish Sunday (June 4) morning.
