Access to Worthington Avenue has been restricted as emergency responders probe reports of another bomb threat, this time near the University College of the Caribbean (UCC) Worthington Avenue campus in New Kingston.

Only individuals with valid identification are being allowed to access the restricted location.

The Jamaica Constabulary Force’s communication unit has since confirmed that a bomb threat has been reported along Worthington Avenue.

This latest bomb threat is among a spate in recent days that have affected the operations of several institutions, including schools, courts, hospitals, and businesses.

The police say their investigations suggest that the threats are a hoax.

We will provide more information in subsequent updates.
