Another Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) bus has been damaged in a stone-throwing incident.

The incident occurred at around 6:30 am on Thursday morning along Marcus Garvey Drive in the vicinity of T Geddes Grant.

It is reported that a stone was thrown into the JUTC bus through the glass window near the back of the vehicle. However, there were no injuries reported during the incident.

The suspect in the incident is reportedly unknown.

This stone-throwing incident comes after at least eight other JUTC buses were damaged in recent weeks. The sustained attacks prompted the state-owned bus company to temporarily halt service on one route.

A teenager has since been taken into custody, and the police are searching for five men in relation to these stoning incidents.
