Another suspect held in relation to Clarendon mass killing

Lawmen attached to the Area 3 Major Investigations Division have captured another suspect in the mass killing on Cherry Lane in Four Paths, Clarendon on Sunday, August 11.

He is Leighton White otherwise called ‘Bonz’ of May Pen, Clarendon in the parish.

Reports are that White attended a police station in the parish, reporting on condition of bail on a previous case of shooting when he was identified and held by the police.

Several suspects have been previously held and a man believed to be a main suspect was shot dead in a police operation this week.

Eight people were killed in the shooting and nine others injured in a rampage that sent shockwaves across the island.

JLP officer corp re-elected en bloc by central executive

“The Central Executive passed on its condolences to families who have lost loved ones and took note of Jamaicans who are still without basic services: electricity, water, internet service, roadways, and proper garbage collections,” Robert Montague, Chairman of the JLP, said.
