Jamaicans travelling to Miami can now use Apple Maps as an invaluable resource to enjoy one of their most favourite travel destinations.

The Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau (GMCVB) has introduced the new Apple Maps Guides to enhance the travel experience for visitors to the diverse and vibrant city. This initiative highlights how technology is enhancing marketing of popular travel destinations.

Apple Maps is a mapping and navigation application on the iOS, iPadOS, watchOS, and macOS devices. Apple Maps enables GMCVB to highlight some of the best features of Miami and Miami Beach, makes it easier for these to be discovered by visitors and provides visitors with accurate up-to-date information about the destination.

GMCVB has created editorially curated guides on Apple Maps designed to help travelers identify the best places to eat, shop, and explore in Miami and Miami Beach. GMCVB’s engaging content showcases the destinations’ unique features and, with Apple Maps’ integration with other Apple services, visitors can receive personalized recommendations and experiences.

Some of the Apple Maps Guides published by the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau are top museums to visit in Miami, Florida; top things to do in Little Havana, Miami; and guide to all things luxury in Miami, Florida.

These are found by opening the Apple Maps app on the Apple device and searching for “Miami & Miami Beach.” Within each curated list are details of places that fall within each of the stated categories.
