Jamaica’s vibrant midweek entertainment scene is set to come alive when Appleton Estate and Campus Elite hosts the third Ribbiz Reserve (RR) Wnzdz anniversary event at Ribbiz Ultra Lounge on Wednesday, May 13. 

The all-black celebration will also serve as the official Campus Elite after party for the end of semester, welcoming university students from across the island as they conclude their examination period in style.

Well-known in the capital city for delivering premium nightlife experiences, RR Wnzdz has become a staple in Jamaica’s entertainment calendar, attracting a dynamic crowd each week with energetic music, fashionable patrons, and unforgettable vibes. 

According to Mark Telfer, Customer & Channel Marketing Manager, J. Wray & Nephew Limited, distributors of Appleton Estate, this anniversary staging promises to elevate the experience even further with a special celebration dedicated to students ready to unwind after months of hard work and academic pressure.

“Patrons can expect an exciting atmosphere featuring top-tier entertainment, premium drinks, and a lively social experience inside one of Kingston’s premier nightlife destinations. The event is proudly sponsored by Appleton Estate Jamaica Rum, adding a signature touch of authentic Jamaican flavor to the festivities,” Mr Telfer said. 

From Campus Elite, event organiser Sandre Malcolm said the event aims to celebrate both the continued success of RR Wnzdz and the resilience of university students completing another academic semester.

“This anniversary celebration is about bringing people together to celebrate achievements, good energy, and Jamaican nightlife culture. We’re especially excited to host students for the official Campus Elite after party as they wrap up exams and begin the summer season. It will be a college end of year prom event, an all-black dress-up affair for college students, so students, come out in your best all-black attire,” Mr Malcolm said. 

He added, “The partnership with Appleton Estate is natural, because they are the title sponsor for the event where R R = Ribbiz [and Appleton Estate] Reserve. For the last three years at the event, we have been serving patrons the Appleton Estate 8 Year Old Reserve Rum.”
