It was back to winning ways for Arsenal as they beat fellow Londoners, Fulham 3-0 to go six points clear in the EPL table.
Fulham are in tenth position, and this fixture could have proved tricky for the Gunners. Today, the team played with a fluidity and creativity that has been missing in recent performances as Arsenal looks to secure its first EPL trophy in twenty years.
Viktor Gyokeres opened the scoring, set up by Saka, weaving his magic inside the box.
The Swede returned the favour, setting up Saka’s goal to make it 2-0 to Arsenal. Defenders William Saliba and Gabriel were magnificent today and have the bit between their teeth.
Just before the half-time interval. Viktor Gyokeres left to meet Leandro Trossard’s lobbed ball to bag Arsenal’s third. The game was done and dusted by the end of the first half.

Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta did the right thing, taking Saka off at half-time as he is returning from injury and must be utilised sparingly at this time. He will be needed for the remaining three games in the EPL.
Arsenal were more relaxed in the second half and saw out this game in style, no doubt conserving energy. Arsenal had 9 shots on target to Fulham’s 1, with 35 touches in the opposition’s box to Fulham’s 13. This could be their year, winning both the Champions League and the EPL title.
After the game, Fulham’s coach Marco Silva said: “They are the basics, and if you look at the goals and the chances they create, they are the basics that were not there. It was clear at half-time. We wanted to do completely different things with winning duels; it was there in the second half, but too late.
Arsenal’s coach Mikel Arteta, commented: “ I think the team played incredibly well today. We dominated and showed the hunger we discussed before the game. We have the opportunity to win two major competitions. We’re games away from achieving that. The boys feel extremely privileged to be in that position. Today they showed the kind of team we are.”
