The ATL Automotive Group has supported a special treat for the Kingston-based New Dawn Learning Centre, as part of its ongoing Stronger Schools initiative.

The event was preceded by a short carol service, after which the children enjoyed supervised access to a bounce-about and a merry-go-round ride, along with snow cones and cotton candy. The children also received Christmas gifts as part of the celebration. Members of both the ATL Automotive Group and Appliance Traders Limited Marketing teams were present.

Stephen Hector, Deputy Managing Director, ATL Automotive Group, said: “At ATL Automotive Group, we believe that meaningful community investment goes beyond moments of celebration. Through our Stronger Schools initiative, our goal is to support learning environments in ways that are practical, sustainable, and impactful.

The New Dawn Learning Centre plays an important role in early childhood development within its community, and we are pleased to partner with the school not only through experiences like this treat, but through planned improvements that will support students and educators well into the future.”

Additionally, Shahna-Kaye Fyffe, Administrator, New Dawn Learning Centre, remarked: “We are deeply grateful for the support extended to the New Dawn Learning Centre thus far and, most importantly, for the joy this treat brought to our children. Seeing their excitement, laughter, and genuine sense of being celebrated reminds us of the profound impact that meaningful experiences like this can have on a child’s confidence and sense of belonging.”

At the New Dawn Learning Centre, the Stronger Schools initiative will focus on improving the physical learning environment through planned infrastructural upgrades and targeted beautification works tailored to the institution’s needs.

These improvements aim to enhance day-to-day functionality, support early childhood development, and create a more welcoming environment for both students and educators, thereby reinforcing the impact of the Christmas treat through long-term, meaningful investment in the school community.

Launched in June 2025, the Stronger Schools initiative positions the New Dawn Learning Centre to receive sustained support through planned facility enhancements and aesthetic upgrades, aimed at strengthening the school’s learning environment well beyond the holiday season.
