Consolidated Bakeries Jamaica Ltd, under its Miss Birdie Brand, has re-signed popular social media influencer and rising social media sensation, Donna ‘Aunty Donna’ Gowe.

Aunty Donna first signed as a brand ambassador to the company in 2021, having won them over by expressing her love for the Miss Birdie Easter Bun.

Coupled with Gowe’s philanthropic work in her community of Mountain View, Kingston, Miss Birdie immediately snagged the chance to work with her.

“Like the brand, [Aunty Donna] maintains standards of kindness and simple living, a belief that we are each our brother’s keeper, and demonstrates that with simple acts of kindness we can spread the love that makes us all genuinely good people. It was a no-brainer as to whether or not she was a great fit.”

“Aunty Donna is the embodiment of our ethos here at Miss Birdie,” said Russanette Dennis, marketing officer.

“Like the brand, she maintains standards of kindness and simple living, a belief that we are each our brother’s keeper, and demonstrates that with simple acts of kindness we can spread the love that makes us all genuinely good people. It was a no-brainer as to whether or not she was a great fit.”

Gowe, on first signing with the company, had said on social media: “With God all things are possible. Officially a brand ambassador for @missbirdiejamaica brand of products. Thank you so much … for choosing me I will be the best ambassador I can be with God by my side.”

With Gowe now under the management of Romeich Entertainment, the Miss Birdie team said it was aiming to make the partnership an even more fruitful one.

“When two powerful brands like Aunty Donna and Miss Birdie come together, there’s only magic to be made,” Dennis said. “Just watch and see.”
