Barita has decided to keep its Montego Bay office at Shop 5, Fairview Town Centre, closed until further notice, given the extensive damage and loss of utilities to the second city of Montego Bay, caused by Hurricane Melissa.
The brokerage and investment firm says its team is working diligently to restore full operations as soon as it is safe to do so.
Montego Bay is among the hardest-hit locations by Hurricane Melissa, which made landfall on Tuesday, October 28, ravaging the resort town, leaving mud, flooded streets, and residents in need of food, water, and power.
