Residents of St Elizabeth showed up and showed out at the Junction ‘Beer Vibes Takeova’ last Saturday night (March 25), as the Great Jamaican Beer, Red Stripe, continued its community awareness initiative on its new, sleek bottle, the ‘Tall Boss’.

Patrons danced and sang along to old and new school dancehall hits courtesy of the skillful juggling of DJs Niney Badness, Koncussion, Roddy Lee, Aggressive, Shuggz, Lincoln and Fairy.

Several community bars were invited to set up temporary operations at the event and the bar operators were pleased to benefit from the influx of bucket deal sales owed to the crowd turnout.

To culminate the night, patrons enjoyed an energetic performance from recording artiste, Take Ova, who treated the crowd to his recent songs ‘Leads’, ‘Ten Times Ova’ and more.

Tall Boss, the new 284mL bottle, was originally introduced in February as the perfect size for enjoying the great-tasting beer at a more economical price.

Red Stripe’s advertising campaign across the country will bring a series of musical performances and pop-ups in trade for consumer interaction.
