Berger Paints Jamaica Limited joined in celebrating the legacy of reggae legend Bob Marley in full colour as the exclusive colour at his recent 80th birthday celebration at the Bob Marley Museum.

Through its sponsorship of the Art Village, Berger Paints created an engaging, family-friendly space where over 150 patrons, including children and adults, participated in artistic activities. From face and body painting to ceramic painting using Berger 303 Decorative Paint, attendees had the opportunity to experience the vibrancy and versatility of Berger’s products.

Dwaine Williams, general manager of Berger Paints Jamaica, and Asheaka James, trade marketing manager, were on hand to witness the excitement first-hand. 

The brand’s signature body paint was a crowd favourite, with artists using bold red, green, and gold hues to align with the celebration’s theme.

Popular storyteller Amina Blackwood-Meeks was among the guests who embraced the experience, participating in caricature art and face painting.

“This initiative reflects Berger’s ongoing commitment to fostering creativity, cultural expression, and community engagement,” said Williams. “We are proud to have been part of this historic milestone and to have given attendees—especially children—a hands-on experience with our products.”

The activation not only highlighted Berger’s innovative product range but also reinforced the company’s mission to enrich local communities through artistic expression and colour innovation.
