Security services provider Beryllium Limited says it is seeking the cooperation of the general public to ensure that its cash in transit (CIT) operations are conducted smoothly and securely.

The request comes at time when the company has to consideration the “inherent dangers” associated with cash in transit operations as it ensures that “the safety of our team and the public is our top priority”.

“Our CIT teams require sufficient time and space to perform their duties effectively and safely. We kindly request that interactions with the team be kept to a minimum during these operations,” Beryllium stated in a release.

It further expressed appreciation for the public’s invaluable support and vigilance as well as the “continuous flow of information regarding potential threats”.

“Your efforts help us maintain the highest standards of safety and efficiency,” Beryllium said.

“While we are taking all the necessary precautionary measures, the risks associated with CIT services remain significant. We remind everyone to stay aware and cautious, understanding the critical nature of these operations.”

The entity said it remains committed to safeguarding its employees, clients, and the community at large. It further acknowledges that by working together and adhering to the guidelines, both Beryllium and the public can ensure a safer environment for all.
