Betting Gaming and Lotteries Commission office to close on December 15

The Betting Gaming and Lotteries Commission (BGLC) will close its Hagley Park Road office on Friday, December 15, to facilitate a staff event.

Regular operations will resume on Monday, December 18, at 8:30 a.m.

The BGLC has apologised to the public for any inconvenience resulting from the closure.

As a regular for Jamaica’s gambling industry, the BGLC oversees the operation of betting, gaming, and the conduct of lotteries. It also protects the public from unfair, unscrupulous, and illegal gambling
activities.
