The Registrar General’s Department (RGD) has announced that it will be issuing birth certificates with a new look.

Starting February 2023, all certificates printed by the RGD will be printed on new security paper.

The new security paper will feature enhanced anti-fraud and tamper-proof characteristics.

While the current version of the certificates remains valid for conducting business, persons are being encouraged to apply for their new certificates and benefit from the enhanced security features.
