Black love in Hollywood: Celebrating lasting marriages

In an industry where it can be too easy to lose oneself in the never-ending cycle of race and politics, many Black couples in Hollywood have maintained healthy relationships in the public eye. 

Across the entertainment fraternity, many endearing examples exist today from Ciara and Russell Wilson to Idris and Sabrina Dhorwe Elba. 

With all the doom and gloom of Black icons in Hollywood committing acts synonymous with barbarism dominating the news cycle, Our Today presents five Black couples still going strong:
