The film Bob Marley: One Love has surged to the second spot on Jamaica’s top ten movies list, just a week after its release on Netflix.

The biographical film released in local theatres on February 14 chronicled the life and legacy of reggae legend Bob Marley and has become a hit with audiences.

Its portrayal of Marley’s journey, from his humble beginnings in Nine Mile, St Ann, to becoming a global icon, has drawn widespread praise for its authenticity and compelling narrative.

The film currently has a 91 per cent approval rating from audiences on Rotten Tomatoes.
