Inequality anthem by legendary group Bob Marley and the Wailers ‘Them Belly Full (But We Hungry)‘ by has been featured on former US President Barack Obama’s 2024 summer playlist.
The track, which was featured on Bob Marley’s ‘Natty Dread‘ album, released in 1974, alludes to the socioeconomic condition of Jamaicans.
The hot new track ‘Jump‘ by South African singer Tyla, dancehall artiste Skillibeng and American rapper Gunna, also earned a spot on Obama’s list.
“With summer winding down, I wanted to share some songs that I’ve been listening to lately, and it wouldn’t be my playlist if it didn’t include an eclectic mix. I hope you find something new to listen to!” Obamma shared with his followers on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Monday, August 12.
The list included a mixture of musical genres, which included hits such as ‘Texas Hold ‘Em‘ by Beyonce, ‘Process‘ by H.E.R., ‘Wanna Be‘ by GloRilla and Megan Thee Stallion.
