St. Lucian media reported that the body of Donald McKinnon, the UK businessman that was recently killed at a local bar has been transported back to Scotland for burial

Although two men were arrested and released without charge after the shooting incident, the murder of the 48-year-old remains an active investigation.

Originally from Fort William in the western Scottish Highlands, McKinnon moved to Saint Lucia and has lived on the island for over 30 years where he was the manager of Soufriere estate, home to two of the island’s tourist attractions.
