Jamaican sprint king-turned-artiste/music producer Usain Bolt on Friday (September 3) released his album entitled, Country Yutes.
A clearly excited Bolt took to Instagram to make the announcement, where he told fans that the album was available on all digital platforms.
“Country Yutes Album OUT NOW!!! Available On all Digital platforms ⚡️#linkinbio ,” said Bolt in an Instagram post which showcased the cover art and track list for the album.
Bolt’s debut album is a collaborative effort with his long-time friend NJ.
NJ’s vocals are the most prominent on the fourteen-song album, with Bolt accenting the work, sprinkling in a few lyrics on each track.
The album also features other artistes, including footballer turned music artiste, Ricardo ‘Bibi’ Gardner, as well as, upcoming dancehall acts Jae Xo, and Kamal.
Reception to ‘Country Yute’
Following the release of Country Yute, several in the music fraternity have come out to laud Bolt’s effort, including dancehall heavyweights Bounty Killer and Baby Cham.
“Y’all ain’t playing with them,” said Killer in the comment below news that Bolt’s album had dropped.
“Congrats fam …. #unstoppable,” added businessman Gary Matalon.
