Usain Bolt has released his latest dancehall rhythm, featuring some of Jamaica’s best entertainers including the incarcerated Vybz Kartel.

Dubbed the ‘Clockwork Riddim’, the A-Team Lifestyle-produced project has Kartel’s vocals on a track called Beautiful Woman, Charly Black on It a Work and Christopher Martin on I’m Ready and Gallis, a collaboration with former Reggae Boy Ricardo ‘Bibi’ Gardner.

ZJ Liquid is on a track called Wild Life.

Several emerging artistes have also voiced on the rhythm, including Jamaican/Trinidadian dancehall singer/songwriter Lia Caribe on the track Uppie; Teejay on Don’t Stop Whine, and Ajii on Clean Babe.

Bolt also tests the dancehall space with his vocals on Timing, that was done in combination with his manager, NJ.

The rhythm drops just three months after the release of Bolt’s Living the Dream single, also done in collaboration with NJ, and is available on several digital platforms including Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon Music, iTunes, Deezer, Tidal, Pandora and Napster.

The tracks are also available on YouTubeMusic.

In February, the eight-time Olympic gold medalist, already involved in several entrepreneurial endeavours, signaled the seriousness of his intention to enter the music industry in an interview on Irie FM but lamented the absence of structure within the Jamaican music industry that he believes robs it of the ability to become more lucrative.

That same month, the 34-year-old Bolt released a single, Say Yes that featured NJ, Bibi and Kamaal.
