
Leoda Bradshaw, a US Navy petty officer charged with the murder of Toshyna Patterson and her 10-month-old child Sarayah Paulwell, will return to court on December 1 when her case will be mentioned.
Bradshaw, was charged with two counts of conspiracy to murder, two counts of conspiracy to kidnapping, two counts of kidnapping, and two counts of murder last week.
She was charged alongside 30-year-old Roland Lloyd Balford, an assistant graphic designer of 67 Commission Road in Kingston 2; Rushane Miller, 29-year-old AC technician of 1 B Camperdown Road, Kingston 16; and Richard Brown, otherwise known as ‘Richie’ or ‘Gorilla’, a 31-year-old graphic designer of 2 Campden Road in Kingston 16.
Bradshaw and her cousin, Balfour, were previously brought to court before Justice Simone Wolfe Reece on October 13 on a voluntary bill of indictment to bypass proceedings in the parish court.
Balford, Miller, and Brown were each charged with two counts of conspiracy to murder, two counts of conspiracy to kidnapping, and misprision of felony.
Official police reports indicate that Patterson and her daughter went missing on September 9. They were allegedly kidnapped by Bradshaw who handed them off to the co-conspirators for them to be killed and their bodies burnt.
Sarayah is the daughter of member of parliament, Phillip Paulwell. The Jamaican politician and Bradshaw are in a long-term relationship. They have an eight-year-old child together.
