Brazil takes over as CDB chair

Brazil has officially taken the reins as chair of the board of governors of the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) with a bold vision to strengthen ties with the region.

Brazil’s Chairmanship will focus on crucial areas such as combating climate change, boosting private sector engagement, and enhancing the bank’s capacity to provide innovative development solutions for its borrowing member countries (BMCs).

Last week, the CDB welcomed Ambassador of Brazil to Barbados, Vera Campetti to the CDB’s head office in the capital Bridgetown.
