‘Bring out ya best dancehall looks’: Cardi B hyped for dancehall-themed birthday party

American rapper Cardi B wants all attendees at her 29th birthday party to channel their inner dancehall king or queen for the dancehall-themed event.
The Bodak Yellow rapper took to her social media pages on Sunday (October 10) to let her fans know that the dancehall-themed party is the real deal.
“Yes, it’s true. The dress code is dancehall! Bring out ya best Caribbean dancehall look,” the rapper said.
She also reminded invitees that the party is today (October 11).
“See y’all dancehall queens, old school dancehall and new school just come ready to skin out,” she added.
The new mother went on to give some inspiration to persons who will be attending the bash, showing a series of pictures with dancehall looks from past dancehall queens.
“I can’t wait for my birthday passa passa party,” she also expressed in an Instagram post.
According to the WAP artiste the party will be taking place somewhere in Los Angeles, California.
The entertainer has always voiced her love and appreciation for dancehall music and dancehall culture in general.
She was recently seen in a video clip lip-syncing to Shenseea’s song Blessed word for word while she was at Paris Fashion Week.
Cardi B initially made the announcement on her Twitter account on Friday (October 8), insisting that all ladies be decked out in dancehall-queen inspired looks from head to toe.
“I’m having a dancehall party for my birthday on Monday. I would like to see my ladies dress up as Dancehall Queens. If the invite has been sent to you make sure you RSVP!” she tweeted
