Global financial expert, educator, author, founder and chief executive officer (CEO) of Profit Jumpstarter Keisha Bailey will return for the second consecutive year to the AC Marriott Hotel in Kingston for the Build Wealth Conference.

Slated for Friday, August 16, to Sunday, August 18, 2024, the event will serve as the occasion for the official launch of the Profit Jumpstarter Academy.

The organisers promise that participants will benefit from actionable strategies, transformative insights, and presentations from a distinguished line-up of local and international industry experts. The conference will also provide opportunities for investors at all stages to share knowledge, network, collaborate, and explore investment prospects locally and internationally.

‘Elevated approach’

While calling the inaugural staging a resounding success, Bailey said this year’s staging of Build Wealth Conference will have a more elevated approach.

BAILEY…we have a tradition of walking our clients through the different stages of their wealth journey, and we want to ensure that they have 24/7 access to the resources that will empower them to grow their wealth portfolio

“Our first event was a catalyst for investor growth. We have made the conference bigger and better, with a bold mandate to exceed expectations. We will be showcasing a diverse suite of wealth-building strategies beyond real estate. We have created an immersive experience that combines global investment opportunities, a focus on women’s financial empowerment, exploration of emerging technologies like artificial intelligence (AI), and an environment that encourages investor collaboration and mindset shift for wealth creation,” the Jamaican-born, US-based entrepreneur shared.

Bailey added that the conference aims to give investors a platform to build and sustain wealth, and she is confident that it will not disappoint.

For the first day of the event, attendees will have access to the business marketplace, where innovative start-ups and businesses will showcase their products and services. The schedule incorporates live performances by local acts and fireside chats with industry experts focused on generative AI, entrepreneurship and women’s financial empowerment.

On day two, the all-day conference will take a comprehensive look on local and international real estate, stocks, and bonds. Day three will conclude with an exclusive VIP brunch catered by internationally acclaimed chef Shanna Lee Bennett, with the aim of fostering networking and brokering deals.

Bailey, who is bullish on her company’s mission to empower and educate more Jamaicans and the Diaspora community to rewrite their financial story, stresses the importance of action in the journey to wealth.

“We have a tradition of walking our clients through the different stages of their wealth journey, and we want to ensure that they have 24/7 access to the resources that will empower them to grow their wealth portfolio. We’re not just talking about it; we’re providing a platform for action,” she asserted

Attendees will receive a complimentary two-week subscription to the Profit Jumpstarter Academy, which will be officially launched at the conference.

Woman power x wealth

Bailey has carved out a space for women’s financial empowerment and generative AI.

“One of the main thrusts of the conference will be to demonstrate to investors the opportunities presented by emerging technologies such as AI in their pursuit of financial empowerment and success,” she explained.

A strong advocate for financial literacy for many years, Bailey has championed programmes such as Money Classroom — a financial education podcast featuring prominent industry experts who break down financial and investment topics for investors — and believes women should have the knowledge to close the gap between financial literacy and wealth.

“The financial empowerment of women is a critical driver for economic growth. As a mother, wife, educator and entrepreneur, I understand the demands on women who sometimes neglect the financial planning necessary to grow their wealth. I feel compelled to provide an opportunity that supports women’s financial growth,” she outlined

Keisha Bailey, CEO of Profit Jumpstarter, says both the organisation and Build Wealth Conference provide people with the education and actionable strategies they need to achieve higher levels of financial success.

“I firmly believe that financial education is the key to unlocking generational wealth and long-term success, and we are committed to playing our part in helping more Jamaicans achieve this for themselves and their families,” the entrepreneur continued.

Through the Build Wealth Conference and her work at Profit Jumpstarter, Bailey hopes to create a financially empowered community where people can make better, more informed decisions about their money and financial future.

“With the Build Wealth Conference and Profit Jumpstarter Academy, our goal is simple, provide people with the education and actionable strategies they need to achieve higher levels of financial success. The world is changing rapidly, and with new technologies like AI, we must adapt and become even more adept at creating the future we want through financial education and empowerment,” she stated.
