The Bunny Lee Striker Museum has officially partnered with I Love Dancehall, as a cultural sponsor for the highly anticipated July 5th event at 1A Caledonia Road.

The partnership brings added depth and authenticity to the music experience, honouring dancehall’s storied roots and its evolution as a defining force in Jamaica’s global cultural identity.

This exciting collaboration symbolises more than just sponsorship—it marks a shared commitment to celebrating dancehall as an iconic element of Brand Jamaica. The Bunny Lee Striker Museum, dedicated to preserving and showcasing the legacy of the late legendary producer Edward ‘Bunny Striker’ Lee, lends its voice and influence to an event poised to blend generations, genres, and vibes.

“This partnership with the Bunny Lee Museum adds a meaningful cultural layer to the experience,” said event organiser Kwame Falconer. “We are proud to pay tribute to the pioneers of the entire Jamaican music industry through our celebration of the growth of dancehall music and its culture. As we attempt to move the genre forward.”

I Love Dancehall has become a beloved platform for music lovers, merging old-school classics with contemporary hits across reggae, dancehall, hip hop, and more.

“The genre of dancehall for over forty years has been the unofficial ‘voice of the Jamaican people’,” Edward ‘Striker’ Lee Junior explained, continuing: “but how many Jamaicans know about the forefathers, and mothers, who built dancehall from the ground up. We are here to tell that story and more. So working with I Love Dancehall to promote and enhance the music is a no-brainer for us.”

The July 5th staging promises an electric atmosphere with a high-energy line-up that is sure to capture dancehall’s roots and future. Leading the charge is Little Richie of Rich Squad—the self-titled ‘Music Professor’—bringing raw authenticity straight from the streets. Coppershot, featuring DJ Marc Chin and Cyclone, adds over three decades of dancehall mastery to the line-up. Carlos A-Team promises to deliver the pulse of the new school, while Nova will represent St Elizabeth proudly by delivering her signature global mixing style, which has positioned her as one of Jamaica’s top DJs and a standout female media personality.
