Jamaica’s Reggae Girlz continued their match toward the FIFA World Cup with a 4-0 thumping of Antigua and Barbuda in their CONCACAF Qualifier at the National Stadium on Friday night.

Reggae Girlz skipper Khadija Shaw netted a hattrick scoring in the 45+1, 49th and 55th minutes. She had scored twice in Jamaica’s 3-2 win over Nicaragua on March 2, 2026.

Donesha Blackwood scored Jamaica’s fourth on the night, completing the rout in the 90+1 minute from the penalty spot.

Shaw confirmed her status as one of the world’s best players, notching her 64th, 65th and 66th goals for Jamaica. The Manchester City striker is the country’s most prolific striker of all time — both male and female.

Members of Jamaica’s team moments before kick off against Antigua and Barbuda.

It was Jamaica’s third consecutive win and they sit atop of Group B with a maximum nine points, having also beaten Dominica 18-0 on November 29.

Nicaragua are second on six points, just ahead of Guyana on goal difference, with Antigua and Barbuda and Dominica at the bottom, pointless from their three games.

Jamaica will conclude its group action on April 18 against Guyana.

Only the group winner will advance to the next stage, which is the CONCACAF Championship set for November 2026, where they will be joined by the other five group winners and the two seeded teams that got a bye, the United States of America and Canada.

The top four teams will then qualify for the FIFA World Cup in 2027 and the other four teams will enter a Play-In for one additional spot.
