Jamaica’s Reggae Girlz captain Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw scored twice, propelling Manchester City to a 3-0 win over Leicester City, and opening up a six-point lead atop the English Women’s Super League.

Shaw netted in the 74th and 82nd minutes, taking her tally to a league-high eight as she once again leads the golden boot race.

Shaw, who is Jamaica’s top all-time scorer, both male and female, with 60 goals, has won the Golden Boot race for the last two seasons. In 2024-25, she scored 12 goals from 14 games. In 2023-24, Shaw netted 21 goals from 18 games.

On November 29, Shaw netted three times as Jamaica trounced Dominica 18-0 in a CONCACAF World Cup Qualifier in her first game in over a year for the Reggae Girlz.

It was Manchester City’s ninth win from 10 games, and they are up to 27 points, establishing a six-point lead at the top of the standings ahead of Chelsea on 21, Manchester United on 20, and Arsenal in fourth with 19 points.
