Bus driver shot dead at Holmwood Technical High

A school bus driver was gunned down on the grounds of Holmwood Technical High School in Manchester this morning, leaving the school community shaken and grieving.

The deceased, identified as Rohan Gentles, also known as ‘Scrooge,’ was a resident of Chudleigh district. Reports indicate that around 8:10 am, Gentles was ambushed by an armed assailant while waiting to load the bus to transport the under-16 and under-14 football teams to a match in Spalding.

Gentles was pronounced dead in transit to the hospital.

Following the tragic incident, classes were promptly dismissed, and students and staff were sent home as police began investigating the circumstances surrounding the killing.

The Manchester Police are continuing their investigation as they work to identify the motive behind the attack and apprehend those responsible.
