Twenty-seven-year-old Orlando Chin, otherwise called ‘Juckie’, a butcher of Glengoffe, St Catherine, has been charged with murder and unlawful burial of the dead.

The victim is 31-year-old Lisa Gaye Coubre of Retreat District, Cassava River, Glengoffe, St Catherine.

Reports are that at about 2:00 pm on September 28, Coubre and Chin were involved a dispute that became physical. During the dispute, Chin allegedly pushed Coubre causing her to fall and hit her head, after which she became unresponsive.

Efforts from Chin to resuscitate her proved futile, so he reportedly disposed of her body in a shallow grave. On Monday, October 7, Chin surrendered to the police and confessed to killing Cobre. On Tuesday, October 8, Chin led the police to where the body was buried.

He was subsequently charged on Saturday, October 12, after a question-and-answer session in the presence of his attorney. His court date is being finalized.
