Café Blue was buzzing with excitement as the Constant Spring Road branch hosted a “house party” for customers who turned out in their numbers, vibing to the new and creative idea last Saturday (June 14).

The party that kicked off 7:00 am and ended at 1:00 pm, was bursting at the seams as patrons poured in and revelled to the disco music of selectors Pietro (DJ Explorer) and DJ Gabby (Gabrielle Davis).

La-Jean-Paige Salmon, Café Blue’s operations and marketing officer, told Our Today the new initiative went extremely well.

“The vibe we aimed for was a regular Saturday morning coffee run with a twist. We added live DJs and a special menu for the house party. Our regular menu was also available to enforce the fact that we are still catering to our regular every day, just providing entertainment,” said Salmon.

Café Blue, which was opened in 2005, believes in the power of a perfect cup of coffee to create moments of connection, inspiration, joy.

The journey began with a simple yet profound mission: to bring the exceptional taste and unmatched quality of Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee to coffee lovers around the world.

“We did a short period of advertising on our social media platforms as we were catering for our regular customers,” Salmon explained.

“The vibes and the feedback from the customers today were awesome,” she reiterated.

“They are asking for this to become a regular event. The vibe we were aiming for is exactly what was executed, the genre of music and beats with some Afro and some mixes here and there, still coffee shop music with a Café Blue twist,” Page pointed out.

Meanwhile, Latoya Chavaria, one of the loyal customers, was surprised but pleased.

“Café Blue is really great. A mean coffee in the morning, afternoon, anytime; this is my go-to stop. I look to it every morning. They know me by name,” Chavario pointed out, while stepping outside to relax and dine.

“The customer service is excellent. Today, I really appreciate the fact that they took the time out to put this little thing together. It’s great as I see everybody enjoying themselves. It’s wonderful,” she beamed.
