Calling all women- Health Ministry presents woman’s wellness fair

The South East Regional Health Authority (SERHA) and the Ministry of Health and Wellness will be hosting a women’s wellness event on Saturday (October 29) at the Duhaney Park Health Centre in St Andrew.

In its continued effort to fight against cervical cancer in Jamaica, the ministry will be providing screening for cervical cancer at the event.

Professionals will be on location to conduct pap smears and breast examination, which will be of no cost to the public.

HPV vaccines and flu shots will also be available for administration to those in attendance who are interested in getting their shots.

The six-hour event, which is set to commence at 9:00 am, will have doctors on location to facilitate free doctors’ visit from patrons.
