Campari has put its support behind one of Jamaica’s newest and hottest Dancehall hitmakers, Valiant, for today’s launch of his first major mixtape titled 4:14

4:14 will be launched at the Marketplace Entertainment Centre for the Arts (MECA), 67 Constant Spring Road, Kingston 8 starting at 8:00 pm. 

Valiant, whose real name is Raheem Bowes, has taken the local music scene by storm as one of Dancehall’s biggest breakouts in recent years with hits, such as Dunce Cheque, Motorcade, Expensive, Barbies, St. Mary and Corruption. 

He has also had collaborations with Skillibeng and Kraff for Real Estate; Stalk Ashley for Narcissistic and Armanii for Innocent. 

A week ago, he announced the release of 4:14 mixtape’s first official single titled Muhammad which narrates a recollection of hope, hurdles, and resilience. 

Pavel Smith, Marketing Manager, J. Wray & Nephew Limited said Campari chose to put their support behind Valiant because of his vision not only for himself but also his goal of continuing to give brand Jamaica recognition on the map globally through his music, tours and performances. 

“Valiant has been well respected worldwide for churning out hit after hit with impactful and relatable messages. With this, Valiant fits well with similar characteristics of Campari’s Respect the Bitter brand message. It is for these reasons and more, that we are putting our full support behind him and helping to power the launch of 4:14 where there will be Campari mixed drink specials for patrons to enjoy,” Smith said.

He added, “He is one of Jamaica’s treasured creatives who has been taking his talent to an international level with messages in his lyrics which speak to the struggles persons are facing with inspiration for persons to overcome and for good quality Dancehall and reggae entertainment.”

Smith also alluded to the fact that Valiant is one of Jamaica’s most streamed artists currently on YouTube and he ended January with nine out of the top 10 songs in Jamaica.
