

Kingston erupted on March 1 as Campari Jamaica with partners Yardmas Carnival and Xodus set the tone for the 2025 Carnival season with an electrifying launch event at TacBar, Devon House Bakery.
The exclusive affair began with a bang, soca music, premium Campari cocktails, and an atmosphere brimming with Carnival energy.
The fusion of music, energy, and Campari-branded aesthetics created an unforgettable setting. The venue pulsed with rhythmic beats as attendees, including Carnival enthusiasts, influencers, and special guests, enjoyed the essence of Campari Red Passion Moments. The signature red-hued cocktails flowed freely, adding to the vibes of the night.
“It’s more purpose and passion and commitment for us,” said the Head of Xodus’ Marketing, Kandi King. “Carnival is bigger than all of us and we are so excited to be on board with Campari.”
Xodus and Yardmas Carnival promoters were present at the event, showcasing their partnership with Campari and enjoying the evening’s festivities. The highlight of the night was the stunning display of costumes and a high-energy performance by Trinidad’s favourite ‘skip-work artiste’ GBM Nutron, reminding everyone that waistlines are meant to move.

Campari Jamaica’s launch event was a hit, with the brand reinforcing its claim as the Carnival in Jamaica, setting the stage for a season defined by rhythm and revelry.
“One X!” the Graphic designer for Xodus, Jovion Curtis exclaimed while bouncing to the music.
Yardmas’ director, Dania Beckford was all smiles and vibes as she gave her address. The bubbling ‘broad-tail’ noted her excitement for the Carnival season and Campari’s support.
“For the last three years we’ve been rocking it with Camapri and our Carnival cousins, Xodus, and we are happy to doing one more year!” she said.
“For this year, for Yardmas we are celebrating everything that is wonderful about Jamaica [under the theme] ‘Land we love'” she added. “Campari has elevated the experience for Yardmas… they’ve kept it very spirited on the road and we are ready to do the same thing this year!”
As the countdown to the road intensifies, this night will undoubtedly be remembered as the perfect prelude to the excitement ahead.
