The Campion College school community has been left in grief today after the tragic death of fifth-form student Jordan Gibson on Thursday (September 16).

Gibson, according to reports, was participating in tryouts for the school’s water polo team when he drowned.

The school, however, did not provide any details around the incident.

“Jordan will be deeply missed. We pray for God’s mercy and comfort for his parents and family. May his soul rest in peace.”

“Jordan will be deeply missed. We pray for God’s mercy and comfort for his parents and family. May his soul rest in peace.”

Gibson by all accounts was an outgoing student with dreams of making a significant impact in Jamaica and the world.

Friends have reportedly lamented that his death has left those dreams unfulfilled.
