After more than a decade without a full-length project, Capleton is set to make a powerful return with his new album, Heights Of Fire, set for release on June 26, 2026.

For music insiders, the early feedback is that ‘Heights Of Fire’ is more than a comeback, it’s a reaffirmation. The fire hasn’t faded. It burns stronger than ever.

The artiste, known as the Fireman, says the album title  is synonymous with his “relentless, fiery spirit”.

“This album reflects my vision of the world and the changes occurring around us. I aspire to offer listeners a source of inspiration and uplifting music that will guide them through life’s challenges, instilling hope for brighter days ahead and reinforcing the message that crime is not the answer,” Capleton said.

The album, which is produced by the indie label Evidence Music, the album brings together a strong international cast, including Damian Marley, Stephen Marley and Eesah, alongside top-tier producers such as Derrick Sound, Little Lion Sound, Mista Savona, Mixing Finga and L’Entourloop.

Capleton praised the work of his studio engineer, Mixing Finga, who worked tirelessly on the album to make it a reality.

“This album is my heartfelt gift to my people,” Capleton added.

He said standout songs on the project will include powerful singles such as “Behave Yourself” and “Red Again”, the lead single for the project.  The fiery ‘Red Again’ marks an explosive return for Capleton.

Produced by Little Lion Sound and Derrick Sound, the track falls into Capleton’s musical wheelhouse as it blends militant reggae energy with a steady old school hip-hop feel. Capleton’s delivery is as commanding as ever, setting the tone for what promises to be a powerful and uncompromising album.

He warns: ‘Fire get red again/tun tun tun it up/mek it spread again/wake dem up/outta dem bed again/mek it ketch inna dem head again’.

The Fire Man is seeking to reawaken spirituality and self-examination in the society, and vows immediate action, railing that ‘vampires get peg again’ and ‘Babylon ah beg and a bawl again’.

“Red Again” has already gone viral, surpassing 340,000 views on YouTube in just ten days, 50,000 streams on Spotify and has quickly gained heavy rotation worldwide.  It has been 16 years since his last album, and now the Rastafarian icon has delivered a body of work that fully lives up to its legacy. The lead single, ‘Red Again’ shows that the fire is still burning strong.

“Red Again” is off to a very strong start. Just one week after release, the track has already surpassed 50,000 streams on Spotify and reached over 340,000 views on YouTube. The numbers continue to grow daily, with a very healthy trajectory across platforms. While it’s still early in the campaign, the momentum is clearly building and the response from audiences has been extremely encouraging so far,” producer Derrick Maître, chief executive officer of Evidence Music, said.

Other singles coming up include Prayers Up (May 8), Jah Shine His Light (May 22), Behave Yourself (June 5), Highway Robbers (June 19th) and ‘Babylon So Evil’ featuring Damian and Stephen Marley (June 26).

Capleton has released over 15 studio albums throughout his career, which began in the late 1980s. Some of his most acclaimed works include 1995’s Prophecy and 2000’s More Fire, which was nominated for a Grammy and spawned hits like “Jah Jah City” and “Who Dem?”.

With ‘Heights of Fire’, he is re-energising his vast fan base across the world. Rooted in authentic reggae foundations while embracing modern textures, the album blends reggae with subtle hip-hop influences. Lyrically, Capleton stands firm in his message, delivering themes of spirituality, resistance, justice and righteousness with unmatched conviction.

This is not reinvention; it’s refinement at the highest level.

While anticipation builds for the album, Capleton has shown no signs of slowing down on the live circuit. The reggae veteran continues to maintain a busy touring schedule, with performances lined up across the United States and the Caribbean. Upcoming stops include New Jersey, Connecticut, Martinique, Miami, Massachusetts, and Guyana. Among the major dates on his calendar is an appearance at the popular Best of the Best concert in Miami on May 24, where he is expected to share the stage with some of the Caribbean’s biggest stars.

During June, he has shows in Birmingham, UK, Germany (June 27) and London (June 28).

“The fire nah stop blaze,” Capleton said.
