CAR Jamaica officially opens new showroom focused on customer experience

CAR Jamaica Motors Limited has officially opened its new showroom at The Roger’s Commercial Centre, 56 Lady Musgrave Road, marking a significant investment in Jamaica’s automotive sector and introducing a modern retail experience designed around customer service, accessibility and a seamless ownership journey.

Operated by Caribbean Automotive Retailers (CAR), the regional distributor for Renault and KGM across several Caribbean territories, the new 4,900-square-foot showroom and customer experience centre forms part of a multi-million-dollar investment that includes service facilities, vehicle inventory and regional parts distribution capabilities. The project has also created new employment opportunities across sales, marketing, administration, after-sales service and technical support, while supporting local contractors, suppliers and service providers throughout its development.

“We wanted to create something that feels different from the traditional dealership experience,” said Melissa Bailey, General Manager of CAR Jamaica. “Our goal is to make the vehicle purchasing journey more approachable, more transparent and more customer-focused. From the moment a customer enters our showroom to long after they have collected their vehicle, we want every interaction to reflect our commitment to going beyond expectations.”

CAR Jamaica is introducing a dealership model focused on long-term customer relationships, transparency and service excellence. The company also serves as the regional distributor of genuine parts for Renault and KGM, supporting dealer and service networks across the Caribbean while providing customers with access to manufacturer-approved parts, warranty support and certified servicing.

The showroom features Renault’s latest vehicle line-up, including the Renault Kiger, a compact SUV designed to deliver practicality, comfort, technology and value for today’s drivers. Customers can also explore KGM’s range of SUVs and utility vehicles, offering a wider selection of vehicles tailored to varying lifestyles and mobility needs.
