Carl Domville has retired from the directorship of Radio Jamaica Limited and Chairmanship of The Gleaner Company (Media) Limited (GCML).

At Radio Jamaica’s 75th annual general meeting last week, Domville did not seek re-election to the board of directors. What’s more, Domville demitted office as chairman of Radio Jamaica’s finance compliance and audit committee this week.

On Monday, he demitted office as chairman of GCML. He has been replaced as the chairman of Radio Jamaica’s finance compliance and audit committee by business executive, Peter Melhado.

Current Radio Jamaica chairman, Joseph Matalon, will take over the chairmanship of GCML having served for many years as a company director.

Radio Jamaica is the parent company of GCML.

Domville is held in high regard as a financial audit professional.

For over ten years he also served as Chairman of the Audit Committee of Barita Investments and remains in that capacity today.

Domville is also on Barita’s Board of Directors.

In 2019, President and CEO of ICD Group Holdings Limited, Peter Melhado was named as Chairman of Sagicor Group Jamaica.

In March of this year Melhado was appointed onto the Radio Jamaica Board of Directors.
