
Marketing and Communication specialist Carole Beckford has announced the release of her newest children’s book, PLAY YOUR WAY, a vibrant 40-page guide that encourages children to rediscover the joy of play with friends and family in a safe, fun, and meaningful way.
Aimed at children up to 13 years of age, PLAY YOUR WAY explores the “where, who, and when” of playtime, helping young readers understand how to build stronger relationships through physical activity, creativity, and teamwork. The book offers practical suggestions for parents, guardians, and educators to support healthy play habits, especially in a time when digital distractions are increasingly dominant.
“In writing PLAY YOUR WAY, I wanted to remind children and the adults in their lives how essential play is for growth, learning, and connection,” says Beckford. “This book is a simple, yet powerful tool that can help spark conversations, foster imagination, and encourage children to engage with the world around them.”
Beckford, widely known for her work in sport marketing, education, communication and community development, continues to expand her literary portfolio with works that empower and educate young audiences.
PLAY YOUR WAY follows her previous publications that focus on Physical Education, Sport, Sport Tourism and Sport Marketing.
The book will be available in both print and digital formats starting Wednesday, October 1. There will be packages available for Schools and community groups.
