Manchester United have confirmed that Casemiro will depart the club when his contract runs out at the end of the season.
The 33-year-old arrived from Real Madrid in 2022 in a £70 million move and quickly became a key figure in midfield.
Across all competitions, he made 146 appearances and added experience and steel to United’s engine room.
One of his standout moments came at Wembley in 2023, when he scored the opening goal in the Carabao Cup final victory over Newcastle.
That season also saw United finish third in the Premier League. As the season draws to a close, Casemiro’s exit signals the end of a powerful chapter, with both player and club preparing for what comes next.
