

Cavalier SC surged to the top of the Wray and Nephew Jamaican Premier League following their 2-0 win over Waterhouse FC at the Anthony Spaulding Sports Complex.
The Rudolph Spied-coached Cavalier moved to seven points from three games as goals by Jalmaro Calvin (12th) and Dwayne Atkinson (34th) proved too much for Waterhouse who slipped to 10th spot with three points but from two games.
St James-based Montego Bay United climbed into second spot on six points following their hard-fought 1-0 win over Chapelton Maroons, courtesy of a late strike by Deonjay Brown in the 90th minute. The promoted Maroons are ninth on three points but from two games.
Meanwhile, Harbour View playing their first game at the revigorated Compound for years, came from behind to beat Molynes United 2-1 and moved into third spot on six points.

The returning Oquassa Chong who left for Mount Pleasant the season before, scored twice for Harbour View, opening the scoring from the penalty spot in the 57th minute and found the clincher in time added on in minute 90+3.
Veteran Jason Wright had pulled Molynes United levelled in the 63rd minute as they remained in 13th spot pointless from two games.
Portmore United won their first match of the campaign edging Tivoli Gardens 2-1 at the Anthony Spaulding Sports Complex. Nickalia Fuller gave Tivoli Gardens a 44th minute lead but that was quickly cancelled out as Junior Grizelle pulled Portmore levelled on the stroke of half time. But Javier Brown with a stunner found the winner for Portmore in minute 88. Tivoli Gardens playing just their second game of the season, slipped to 12th in the 14-team league with a point.
There were two drawn games as Arnett Gardens had to rally for a 1-1 draw with promoted Racing United and Humble Lion and Vere United battled to a 1-1 draw in the Clarendon derby at the Wembley Centre of Excellence.

An own goal gave Racing United a 37th minute lead but a brilliant individual goal by Kimani Arbourne in the 56th minute earned a share of the points for Arnett Gardens. But truth be told that goal should also be deemed an own goal as Arbourne’s shot was heading well wide of the goal before a wicked deflection.
Arnett slipped to fourth on four points from two games while Racing United are fifth on goal difference as they are also on four points.
In the Clarendon derby, Kishane Gordon scored very late in the 90+1 minute enabling Vere to earn a 1-1 draw with Humble Lion for who Karim Bryan netted a penalty in the 75th minute. Vere United are sitting in 6th spot with four points while Humble Lion are 8th with three points.
