CPJ hosted a cowboy-themed tasting event of Woodford Reserve Bourbon at the Caymanas Park Directors Box last Saturday.
It was a wonderful day to spend at the races while finding out more about Woodford Reserve, a fine bourbon from Kentucky.

Caribbean Producers Jamaica Limited (CPJ) is continuing its partnership with Supreme Ventures Racing and Entertainment Limited (SVREL) as one of the official sponsors of the 2024 Mouttet Mile Invitational, set to take place at Caymanas Park on December 7, 2024.
The Mouttet Mile Invitational is a Grade One event for three-year-olds and upward going over a mile (1,600m). The 2024 purse is set at a historic US $250,000.

As one of the premier food and beverage companies in the region, CPJ is excited to add its distinct premium brands to support Caymanas Park’s marquee race day.
Now in its third year the Mouttet Mile has a growing international presence, attracting top-tier horses, jockeys and racing fans from across the world.

CPJ’s addition to the list of corporate sponsors will ensure that the event upholds its reputation for high-quality entertainment and hospitality.
Natesha Powell, Brand Manager of Spirits and Beverages at CPJ, shared the significance of the sponsorship. “This is our third year sponsoring the Mouttet Mile, and it’s a perfect fit for us. Woodford Reserve is the official bourbon of the Kentucky Derby, and we wanted to bring that same prestige to Jamaica. Last year was our first time introducing Woodford Reserve at the event, and the feedback was phenomenal. This bourbon is relatively new to the Jamaican market, and there’s no better platform to showcase it than the Mouttet Mile,” she said.

The cowboy-themed outing entitled ‘Trail to the Mile’ hosted on September 28, 2024, featured a special Woodford Reserve tasting.
Each Trail to the Mile event will offer fans an exclusive preview of the premium experience to be expected at the Mouttet Mile.
