Carla Dunbar Ministries International’s (CDMI) Kingdom Out initiative donated to the Golden Spring Health Centre staff’s drop box initiative on June 23 to serve underprivileged families, demonstrating a commitment to community health.
The event, part of the Kingdom Out Initiative, provided essential supplies, food, and toiletries to poverty-stricken areas.
Supporting the shut-ins
The Golden Spring Health Centre was one of the primary volunteer groups that helped with health screenings during the Kingdom Out event.
Nurse Robinson did a complete needs assessment, recognising the ongoing need for support, particularly among the elderly and disadvantaged shut-ins who are unable to attend public activities. This assessment emphasised the importance of continued assistance for these vulnerable people.

The initiative placed necessary materials in the donation drop box to guarantee that community health aides (CHAs) could continue to assist with their weekly check-ins. These committed CHAs go to the homes of shut-ins to deliver food and toiletries to those in need.
The Handover
CEO and Founder of Carla Dunbar Ministries International and Presiding Bishop of CDMI F.A.M.I.L.I.E.S. (Faithfully Advancing Marriage, Integrating Lives in Encouraging Service) Bishop Dr Carla Dunbar and Personal Assistant and Administrator at CDMI, Melody Bennett, presented these critical supplies to the Golden Spring Health Centre during the handover ceremony.
The event demonstrated the collective effort to increase community support and the importance of collaboration among diverse stakeholders in addressing public health concerns.
The donations included a variety of food and toiletry goods, all to reduce the load on the shut-ins and ensure they receive the care they require.
Allies and sponsors
CDMI allies and corporate organizations include Guardian Life, Grace, Wisynco, Delect, Bleach Plus Manufacturing, Gentle, Cals, Food For the Poor, Nutrition Products Limited, the Ministry of Health and Wellness, the KSA Health Department, and others.
Their support allowed CDMI to extend our outreach to people we were unable to reach on the day of the event.

The gathering emphasised that community efforts, much like Kingdom Out, are part of a long-term commitment to bettering the lives of the most vulnerable.
The Golden Spring Health Centre’s engagement with community health aides and government agencies guarantees that the support system is strong and effective. The CHAs play an important role in this ecosystem by constantly checking in on the elderly and other vulnerable groups to ensure they have access to food, medication, and other necessities.
The handover celebration demonstrated the strength of the community and the significance of ongoing support for the needy.
