ChannelPro, a sales and outsourcing services company, has launched its “Boss Up” Small Biz virtual series.
The thought-leadership, lunch and learn sessions are geared towards empowering small business owners and ‘solopreneurs’ with the knowledge and the toolkits needed to efficiently manage their business operations, end-to-end.
‘Boss Up’ will focus on areas such as how to acquire business investments and access to funding, accounting and taxation, sales and marketing, leadership, and digital transformation to include e-commerce.
“The concept and topics for the series are very specific to real-life business challenges faced by SMEs, from putting together a sound business plan, financial statements and strategy to how to seek funding. Fireside chats with established business owners across the Caribbean offering nuggets to small business owners, examining common mistakes made by SMEs and how to avoid or navigate them,” explained ChannelPro CEO Twitty-Ann Thomas.
“The idea of the series was birthed from our customers constantly asking us to host sessions on specific topics to enable them for long-term business success and to help them navigate common problems faced by small business owners,” she added.
The first webinar will be themed ‘Strategic moves for the new eCommerce landscape‘ on July 13 at 1:00 pm. The webinar will be hosted by Debbie Bissoon and will feature Caribbean online business strategist, Keron Rose; Christopher Burns, CEO of First Atlantic Commerce; Kemar Harris, digital and e-commerce consultant; and Sara-Kay Nembhard, sales and support officer at NCB.
“We are more than happy to offer any support we can in enabling the growth for the small business sector in Jamaica and the wider Caribbean, if the SME sector thrives, the economy by extension thrives,” said Thomas.
