China lends a hand to Jamaica for hurricane recovery effort

Chinese Ambassador to Jamaica Wang Jinfeng has stepped up in the island’s time of need to offer grant assistance and humanitarian aid by the Government of the People’s Republic of China to the Government of Jamaica. 

He gave a speech before Minister of Foreign Affairs Kamina Johnson Smith, Commander Alvin Gayle, director-general of the Office of Disaster Preparedness and Emergency Management (ODPEM), who attended the ceremony and delivered remarks.
