The Chinese National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) says China’s economy is continuing to recover and improve in 2024.

For the first quarter, economic growth has remained stable and shown signs of improvement, structural adjustments have progressed steadily, and quality and efficiency have steadily increased.

The NDRC also says that people’s livelihoods have been effectively safeguarded, and market expectations have generally improved.
