Naton’s journey began as a distributor of well-known international orthopedic brands in China. Over the course of a decade, Naton built a highly effective sales network, both domestic and international, which currently comprises over 900 clinical professional sales representatives. This solid foundation paved the way for Naton to expand into innovation, manufacturing, and clinical applications of orthopedic products, starting in 2003.

Since its inception, Naton has successfully established and integrated an international orthopedic research center, three orthopedic product manufacturing facilities, and a specialized orthopedic hospital. Their products have been sold in many countries around the world and focuses on low cost with high quality, making it easier to access.

The Naton Intl. Orthopedic Research Center plays a critical role in improving Naton’s manufacturing process, implementing new manufacturing technology, designing and developing and improving on orthopedic implants and matching instruments.

Led by Professor Cheng-Kung Cheng, the Naton Institute of Medical Technology, formerly known as the International Orthopedic Research Center, was founded in 2005 and is currently located in Yongfeng Science Park, Haidian District, Beijing.

The institute has established a complete R&D unit, from retrieval analysis to product design, biomechanical testing to intellectual property maintenance, and has already secured 92 invention patents, becoming the Beijing Medical Implant Engineering Technology Research Center.

The company has established long-term and close cooperation with both domestic and international universities, hospitals, and organisations, such as Taiwan Yang-Ming University, Hong Kong Chinese University, Beihang University, Sichuan University, Xiamen University, New York Hospital for Special Surgeries, Chinese Speaking Orthopaedic Society, and Research Institute of Tokyo Medical University, among others.

Naton’s core business encompasses medical devices, new materials, and other fields, with its orthopedic business originating in 1996. With 9 national high-tech enterprises and over 4 ZhengTian, Medical Instruments Co., Ltd. operates in a 45,000㎡ factory with experienced and loyal staff. The company boasts an annual production capacity of over $400 million and uses imported, state-of-the-art equipment.
