
Chinese hospital ship Ark Silk Road has treated 709 walk-in patients and completed 14 surgeries on its second day in Montego Bay, St James.
The ship docked in Montego Bay on Thursday to help the relief efforts in the wake of Hurricane Melissa devastating the western region of the island on Tuesday, October 28.
This impressive efficiency of the medical staff will be employed in other sections of the island.
The ship will visit Kingston and Falmouth in the following week.



In its 12-day stay, the Ark Silk Road will continue to bring great support and relief to the affected areas and people.
With our hands joined together, we can definitely overcome the disaster and build back a stronger and more resilient Jamaica.
